This year there will again be multiple Supporter Events to choose from, with more information including events and venues, coming soon!

SUPPORTER EVENTS

These events are open to anyone, even if you’re not playing in the Vic Open, but they are designed for those who have been knocked out of their event but wish to stay on and compete the following day. Entry is via Bowlslink.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • Entries will be open until 8.00am the morning of the event. You must enter with a full team. If looking for players, use the Facebook Hub https://www.facebook.com/groups/vicopen2025hub
  • Prizemoney will be determined on the day, but will be a minimum of all entry fees collected.
  • Prizemoney awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd placed teams.
  • Lunches not included, but available for purchase at all venues.
  • Blind card draws will be done on the morning of the event to determine fixtures.
  • Pairs and Triples are 3 games of 15 ends.
  • Rapid Singles is Sets Play. Four bowls, 2 x set of 9 ends with a time limit of 2hrs 15mins per match (not including trial ends). If set wins are tied, a 1-end tie-breaker will take place. Toss for matt first set, winner of 1st set lead in 2nd set. Toss for the matt in a tie-breaker.
  • 9am rego, 9.15am roll up, 9.30am start.
